Lettie Zimmerman - Summer 2013

The summer 2013 Unsung Hero is Lettie Zimmerman, a clear champion of senior housing and services.

Lettie, a Past President of the Rotary Club of Boulder City has actively served on the board of Lend a Hand of Boulder City and more recently finished her term as President. While serving as president of Lend a Hand, Lettie navigated the organization through IT upgrades and comprehensive policy and procedure update. Lettie is extremely proud of Lend a Hand volunteers who drove over 70,000 miles last year taking clients to appointments throughout southern Nevada.

She is also extremely grateful for the support her husband, John Bullis, has provided her in whatever volunteer efforts she has embraced. John is also an active volunteer for Lend a Hand. It is with great pleasure that we honor Lettie for her dedication and commitment to our seniors, clearly making Boulder City a safer place to live work and visit!
