John Glenn - Summer 2016

It is without hesitation and indeed a great honor to recognize our newest Unsung Hero, Sergeant John Glenn. John has not only served as the Acting Chief of Police during the last two administrator changes, he has been a steadfast part of the Police Department since 1992.

He has served as a field training officer to dozens of newly hired employees, reserve officer coordinator, the Coordinator of Joining Forces Task Force, a Traffic Sergeant, Patrol Sergeant and Detective Sergeant – just to name a few.

John has also been the City of Boulder City, 2013 Employee of the Year, the recipient of a Life Saving Medal in 2011 as well as a Unit Accommodation in 2008. Please join me in congratulating a man of integrity and hard work ethic, Sergeant John Glenn, on being the newest Unsung Hero!
