Harold Begley - Winter 2014

A champion of many causes and a committed community servant, a mere glimpse of what Harold Begley has contributed to Boulder City in the 41 years he has called Boulder City home. Harold, who for decades was known as, “Goldie’s Husband”, has quite the track record of service. A former youth basketball coach, ballot question committee member, Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission, member and current President of Boulder City Sunrise Rotary, Chamber of Commerce Volunteer, member of the hospital auxiliary, and board member of the Boulder City Public Artscape – just to name a few. Harold also takes great pride in being part of the Boulder City High School’s Robotics team, number 3009, since its inception. His commitment to Boulder City’s vitality and his embodiment of Rotary’s “Service Above Self” creed has earned Harold the honor of being our newest Unsung Hero inductee!
